Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Loevech ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("User", "you", or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any modifications.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-platform notification. Changes are effective upon posting.

2. About Loevech

Loevech is an AI data annotation and quality rating platform operated by REWORK Digital. We connect businesses that need human-evaluated data for AI model training with skilled annotators who perform text annotation, image labeling, audio evaluation, video review, and RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) tasks.

Loevech provides the technology infrastructure and tools that enable annotators and businesses to connect and collaborate. Annotators on the platform are independent contractors and are not employees of Loevech or REWORK Digital.

3. Account Eligibility & Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information provided is truthful and accurate.

3.2 Account Types

Loevech offers annotator accounts (for individuals performing data annotation tasks) and business accounts (for organizations posting annotation projects). Each account type has specific features and obligations.

3.3 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Keeping your information accurate and up to date
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Annotator Terms

As an annotator on Loevech, you agree to:

• Complete assigned tasks accurately and to the best of your ability
• Follow project-specific annotation guidelines and instructions
• Maintain the confidentiality of all project data and content you access
• Not share, copy, download, or redistribute project data outside the platform
• Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to complete annotation tasks
• Accept that quality scores are tracked and may affect your eligibility for future tasks

Loevech reserves the right to reject annotations that do not meet quality standards, adjust compensation for substandard work, or suspend annotator accounts for repeated quality issues.

5. Business Terms

As a business using Loevech, you agree to:

• Provide clear and accurate annotation guidelines for your projects
• Ensure that data submitted for annotation complies with all applicable laws
• Not submit data containing illegal content, personally identifiable information of third parties without consent, or material that violates any laws
• Pay for completed annotation work in accordance with agreed-upon rates
• Respect annotator privacy and not attempt to identify or contact annotators outside the platform

6. Payments & Fees

Payment processing is handled through our third-party payment provider (Stripe). By using payment features, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

• Businesses are charged based on project scope, task volume, and service tier
• Annotator compensation is based on completed and approved tasks
• Loevech may charge platform fees as disclosed at the time of transaction
• All fees are in the currency specified at the time of transaction
• Refunds for businesses are handled on a case-by-case basis for quality disputes

7. Intellectual Property & Content

7.1 Platform IP

The Loevech platform, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by REWORK Digital. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

7.2 Project Data

Data submitted by businesses for annotation remains the property of the submitting business. Annotation outputs (labels, ratings, classifications) created through the platform become the property of the business that commissioned the project upon payment completion.

7.3 Platform License

Loevech retains a non-exclusive license to use aggregated, anonymized annotation data for platform improvement, quality benchmarking, and service enhancement. This does not include identifiable project content.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit or annotate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
• Engage in fraudulent activity, including submitting false annotations
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Circumvent any security measures or access controls

9. Confidentiality

All project data, annotation content, business information, and platform materials accessed through Loevech are confidential. You agree not to disclose, share, or use any confidential information for any purpose other than performing tasks on the platform. This obligation survives termination of your account.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, quality issues, or any other reason at our discretion. Account termination does not relieve you of any outstanding obligations or liabilities.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR SPECIFIC RESULTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOEVECH AND REWORK DIGITAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada, except where prohibited by law.

You agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting us before initiating formal proceedings. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
